A party long over twenty years. Many counts between praise and success, the Festival de la "Volia CAZZATE" that is preparing to welcome, between praise and success, in a warm and tasty embrace, thousands of admirers of his prized fruit, the olive and beyond. A festival that year after year has earned the reputation of top event of the autumn Salento, an event that over the years, grew up under the trade and economic aspects, both from those exquisitely tourist.
Visitors can enjoy free the typical "volie crap" (crushed olives), in addition to the products of traditional local food such as legumes, cicoreddhe (wild greens) prepared according to traditional recipes of the local tradition, boiled pork, roast in which will be added this year, a selection of cheeses of some dairy farms of the Greek Salento. All this of course accompanied by the excellent wine enoteca of "Volia CAZZATE", where you can sample some of the best wines produced by local companies martanese and Salento.
It is also this year in collaboration with the Friends of the Festival risotto Villimpenta (Mantova), a combination, rather than consolidated, which further specifies the event resulting in a "unique" hardly comparable with similar events. You will be able to taste the risotto, polenta, salami Mantua and the renowned Lambrusco.
Will then, as every year, the traditional appointment with the lunch tasting Sunday set menu, which like every year will take place at the stands of the festival, which will be open (by appointment) to all those who wish to spend a Sunday noon in the company of the staff of the festival. A time of celebration and joy, where you can taste the products of the local tradition is that villimpentese Salento.
