Guided tour of Bari with local products tasting

Bari, the capital of Apulia, is a magnificent city by the sea full of history, traditions and folklore. The tour will take us to one of the main symbolic places of the city: «Nderr La’ Lanz»,  («at the foot of the boats»), an open-air temple of Bari’s gastronomy. Here you can taste fresh seafood and enjoy the beautiful view of the the longest waterfront of Europe.
We will learn about the traditions of the old city, walking through the little streets stopping by the «Arco Basso», also called «the orecchiette street» where experienced «massaie» work everyday for an excellent homemade pasta just outside their houses. Besides their «cooking show», the pasta can also be bought in various sizes and kinds of dough. Wandering around «Bari Vecchia» you’ll come across edifices of great historic and cultural value such as San Nicola’s Basilica, San Sabino’s Cathedral and the Norman-Suevian Castle.
