Traditional Apulian Cuisine Course "As it Once Was"- Grandmother's Cuisine

L'OFFERTA INCLUDE

The workshop takes place in a rural setting at «Casa di Campagna» (Country House).

In this immersive experience, you'll learn the production techniques and methods of preparation once used by our grandmothers. The course includes the creation of three types of fresh pasta: orecchiette, strascinati, and cavatelli. Starting with flour, you'll work your way to the finished product.

Participants will shape the pasta on a traditional wooden board called the “tavoliere,” under the careful supervision of the instructor. Additionally, we'll prepare typical taralli that will be baked in the wood-fired oven just as it was done in the past. The fresh pasta will be cooked directly on the grill, just like our grandparents used to.

To conclude the experience, you'll be served a small lunch featuring: three traditional starters made with seasonal ingredients, a first course (orecchiette with tomatoes, basil, and cacioricotta cheese), and a typical Apulian dessert. Wine produced by the estate and water are included.
