Contrade and dry stone architecture with tasting of local products

The experience will start from a hamlet of Fasano and will make you discover one of the wildest and most spectacuar places of Itria Valley where old dry stone constructions are still intact and fully accessible by hikers. In this wonderful hiking in the middle of the nature we will walk part of the path of the aqueduct: the ancient farm roads and several mule tracks used to move animals, learning about the history of the territory and the working procedures used in the many millstones. This tour allows us to deeply immerse ourselves in the heart of nature among the dense flora and the smell of local herbs. At the end of the itinerary we’ll have the opportunity to taste local products like focacce, cured meats, cheese, frise and jam tart and 3 types of wine: red, white and rosé wine.
