DESCRIZIONE PROPOSTA
Wonderful visit of the «Pearl of the South», famous for the Romanic cathedral by the sea, the Suevian Castel and an exceptional quality of marble: Trani’s stone. The symbolic place of the city, the touristic port, is located at a strategic place. Looking to the right you’ll see the small fort with a panoramic view on the sea, and the public garden where you’ll enjoy fresh air in tree shadows and admire some colorful parrots. To the left there is the grandiose Cathedral, built of the white-rosy Trani’s stone, in contrast to the blue of the sea and the sky. This church, consacreted to the patron saint Nicola Pellegrino, owns the coast and bears the meaning of «simbolic lighthouse» guiding the human race towards the port, emblem of Christianity.
